My journey with a camera began long ago. I owned this pink camera that used 110 film. I carried it with me to record my childhood memories. When it stopped working, I used disposable cameras. (How wasteful!) They were the coolest thing since sliced bread.
My parents then bought me a 35mm camera, and I was a in camera heaven. I took pictures of my brothers, my cats, flowers, the sky… I have boxes of photographs to prove this. I was always setting up mini shoots and taking pictures in new angles.
My first professional grade camera was a joint purchase with my husband days before our wedding. Since that purchase we’ve grown as photographers, mostly focusing on portraiture. We revel in photographing our children, especially outdoors.
I’m just a mom… with a camera.
